From a young age, Sophie dreamed of being a perfumer, and that's how she fell into the world of distillation, test tubes, and graduated with a degree in Formulation Chemistry Engineering.

25 years of Research and Development later, the desire to explore the world of cosmetics still gnaws at her. So, in 2022, after the lockdown led us to introspection, she created her brand, reflecting her questions about our mindless overconsumption—a brand inspired by a return to common sense. That's how TAÏAO was born:

The Ivory soap contains a very special oil, rarely seen in soap making: Chaulmoogra oil. This oil has long been used in Asia for delicate skin.

The Turmeric soap contains Tiger Nut oil, which makes this soap gentler. Rumor has it that this oil also slows hair regrowth after waxing.

Finally, the Graphite soap was formulated for oily skin. It contains sulfur salt and activated charcoal, the best enemies of acne. It is enriched with Andiroba oil.
