For more than 10 years, Minuit Deux creates collections that convey values of inclusion and respect. To celebrate, we are organizing a retrospective Fashion Show this Friday, July 1st on Grand Site of Solutré.
Born in the area of Mâcon, our designer Fabrice Couturier is strongly linked to his local roots.
After a career between Paris and Berlin, Istanbul and New York, some personal reasons brought him back and gave him the opportunity to rediscover a territory that ultimately never left him.
With a foothold in Burgundy, the brand is no less international, thanks to its many pop-ups in Europe.
Showing this rock as a symbol of the rise of Minuit Deux, the location was an evidence.
The meeting with the team of the Grand Site de Solutré, classified as a Remarkable Site, first confirmed a collaboration on products created for the guides and then the idea of organizing a spectacular event through the vineyards on a beautiful summer evening.
The combination of all these elements brought Fabrice to organize for the first time in the brand’s history a Fashion Show… but the show will be memorable!
From evenings with friends as a teenager on the Rock to morning walks more recently, this place follows the life paths of all Mâconnais.
The first step was to open our eyes and realize how exceptional this landscape is and how much this natural setting would be a perfect fit for the creations of Minuit Deux.
The shock of fluorescent colors in the green of the vinegrape, the atypical beauties close to the brand and the wind...
This wind that will blow on the hair and make the fabrics fly away…
The route has been chosen, the winegrowers contacted, all without exception loved the idea... the city will close roads and organize parking, the guides will direct the spectators, the hoteliers will house the performers, it's a whole village that is freedom and inclusiveness.
Appointment is given for the hairdressers and make-up teams led by Christophe Durand, our talented friend from Geneva, at the beginning of the afternoon with the models and models, rehearsals in the afternoon and at 7:30 p.m. the show! The show will be filmed and broadcast.
From 8:30 p.m. meet at the Grand Site house for the concert of Eustache Mc Queer, performer met in Amsterdam during a trip but based in Lyon.
Then Markus Chaak, Parisian queer dj will take us on a journey with his set.
The Fashion Show is open to all, free of charge however, the evening is on reservation with a price of 5€ this allows us to ensure that all the registered people move because we are forced to respect a gauge of 200 people maximum.
A big surprise awaits you during the show, indeed for several months, Minuit Deux has been working discreetly on a collaboration with the sportswoman Océane Sercien-Ugolin, handball player and Olympic champion in Tokyo 2020.
The first meeting between Fabrice and Océane turned out to be professional love at first sight. The idea of collaboration came very quickly. Indeed, Océane, a great sportswoman, was attracted by the technical side of the clothes proposed by Minuit Deux.
The research of shapes and materials was made in perfect union of the two universes. This collection between Minuit Deux and Océane is not simply a figurative garment, it is a new way of rethinking technical clothing for the city.
Océanemotion by Minuit Deux is the name chosen for this collaboration.
